My good friend Phil will be showing his new series of high dynamic range landscapes photographs this November. Like with all his work, these photographs are beautifully composed but with the increased range of tone and color they blur the edges between photography and illustration. Wonderfully powerful and a must see!

Autumn clouds are so heavy.

They just hang there. Still. Their cloud bellies full of summer memories.

They mull them over. One at a time.

Little cloud eyes pinched tight to push each memory movie forward.

Forward.

Forward.

To the horizon.

Where the earth will soon again bow to welcome the spring sun as it swings around the earth to skate across their puffy cloud faces.

Waking them.

Lighting them.

Lifting them.

Up.

Up.

To where tomorrow never ends.

ADDICTED TO PLASTIC is a feature-length documentary about solutions to plastic pollution. The point-of-view style documentary encompasses three years of filming in 12 countries on 5 continents, including two trips to the middle of the Pacific Ocean where plastic debris accumulates. The film details plastic's path over the last 100 years and provides a wealth of expert interviews on practical and cutting edge solutions to recycling, toxicity and biodegradability. These solutions - which include plastic made from plants - will provide viewers with a hopeful perspective about our future with plastic.
